Our Beliefs
At Autism-PI we are parents that believe autism is always a consequence of brain injury happening in late pregnancy or during child birth by means of Hypoxic or Traumatic brain damage or both. We understand a significant portion of cases diagnosed as autism have their roots in medical malpractice and Obstetrician incompetence. We are also aware that many of the underlying conditions seen in autism are also consequences of brain damage at birth. As Dinesh Danny our founder and author of the book "Autism Answers & Action" says.

With a clear understanding of the causes of autism we expect to create awareness of the true causes of autism and re-focus research into brain damage recovery treatments which remains an unaccomplished goal of modern medicine. We believe confirmation of our beliefs with actual data is possible and we are engaged in a data collection initiative to do just that.

We are collecting data along two different tracks. One track is autism caused by traumatic brain injury at birth by Pitocin abuse malpractice and the second track being predominantly hypoxic-ischemic brain injury(lack of oxygen) due to naturally occurring complications. These two tracks are expected to have had slightly different effects in the brain and seem to have slight differences in symptoms. The response to treatments in these two tracks also seems to differ slightly.
The traumatic injury by Pitocin abuse track also involves a legal angle as the argument of Pitocin injury gets written off as lacking evidence. This data collection initiative aims to establish profiles of Pitocin abuse grouping cases by obstetrician, hospital and induction time. Vertical Divider

Dinesh Danny, author of the book "Autism Answers and Action" is the founder and key inspiration for Autism PI. A head MRI scan of the authors second son presented injuries in his brain that could only be present due to traumatic injury at birth, revealing that his wife's prolonged Pitocin induced labor of over 18 hours lead to his sons brain damage and autism diagnosis. Our Foundation and Values
Autism Research
At AutismPI, we believe research into genetic causes of autism is a wild goose chase, simply because genetic causes of disorders with neuro-developmental impacts are well documented throughout history, such as Downs syndrome, Fragile X, Tourette's etc. These are not autism and cause effects that are typically more significant than the neuron damage autism symptoms of speech, socialization, focus and fine motor deficits. Autism symptoms are clearly caused by neuron damage exclusively in the brain, occurring at or around birth, resulting in slow brain processing speeds at various levels. Our efforts would be to pivot research to focusing on strategies for regeneration and recovery of the central nervous system from birth damage. Damage to the central nervous system has been considered permanent this far, but there are numerous ideas under research that are worthy of pursuit. Some of these ideas include tissue nanotransfection, neuronal stem cells, in-vivo reprogramming of glial cells to become neurons, scar reduction and the like. Damage to the blood brain barrier, inflammation and neuroprotective strategies are some of the other areas to consider.
We welcome assistance from all quarters, individuals, organizations, companies joining us in pursuit of this objective. We believe such research has the potential to effectively end autism for those already impacted by it.

Our Vision
- We envision a world free of autism and other significant mental health conditions in the near future.
- We see a world where brain injury becomes treatable and recoverable by the end of this decade (2030) , a world where birth injury at birth is avoided 100%.
- We also foresee evolution of society where recognition of unfortunate birth circumstances leading to the mentally challenged results in love, understanding and compassion for them vs the tendency towards exclusion and stigmatization.
Our Organization
We are an organization of impacted parents, launched in 2020. At this time we're a bunch of busy autism parents volunteering our time and effort for this initiative. We are currently focused on enabling legal discovery and birth injury recovery research through our data collection, analysis and reporting initiative. As a new organization with new ideas we hope to gather a lot of support and execute on our vision for a reduction in autism occurrence through education and research.
At this time we are purely research non profit program, but we intend to add additional services as our movement takes root.
